Man charged in June 2021 death of Indian Head RCMP officer back in court

A new court date has been set for one of two Winnipeg residents, arrested in connection with the death of an Indian Head Mountie last year.

42-year-old Alphonse Traverse, is going to trial on a First Degree Murder Charge, with his next pretrial appearance set for March 24th, in Regina Court of King’s Bench.

His co-accused, 44-year-old Marlene Pagee will be back in Regina Provincial Court tomorrow (TUES), charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder.

On June 12th, 2021 in Wolseley, Constable Shelby Patton stopped a truck that had reportedly been stolen from Manitoba, and while Patton was out of his vehicle, the truck allegedly ran him over.
