RCMP say a motorist traveling south on Highway 4, 40 kilometres south of Meadow Lake, pulled over to help a man who was lying on the road beside his truck. When approaching, the man grabbed the motorist by the arm and mentioned he had a weapon while reaching into his pocket, but the motorist broke free.

The suspect is described as a 50-year-old white man with a black beard and a mullet, wearing a red plaid shirt over a green shirt and a black hat. RCMP say the suspect vehicle is described as an older model blue Ford pickup truck with rust on the rear bumper.
