A collision between a train and SUV turned fatal in Churchbridge.

On January 20th, Esterhazy RCMP responded to the scene at a rail crossing in the town.

The driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old male from Churchbridge, was declared dead at the scene, while two passengers, a male and a female youth, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
