A new court date has been set for a Russell man charged with allegedly making threats online.

On January 11th, Russell RCMP were advised of man making threats on a social media account towards law enforcement personnel, government officials and medical professionals.

Officers attended the suspect’s residence, where he resisted arrest, before being taken into custody.

42-year-old Michael Man will return to Brandon Court tomorrow, on charges of Uttering Threats, Resisting Arrest, and four counts of Assaulting a Police Officer.
