The Hawks got the opening goal with 2:06 left in the 1st period as Alex Johnson deflected home a Tre Fouquette a point past Terrier netminder Tysen Smith for his 9th of the season to make it 1-0.

But a quick response just over 3 minutes later by the Terriers as Cade Kennedy walked off the side-wall and he sniped in his 5th of the year over the right shoulder to pull Yorkton even.

The Hawks would respond though late stages in the late stages of the period, capitalizing on couple break-downs in defensive zone by the Terriers and Buckberger & Eric Robbie helped the home side push their lead to 4-2 after 40 minutes.

Nipawin scored the only goal in the 3rd late as FX Bedard jammed in a rebound in front to put the game out of reach.

Jackson Fellner helped the Hawks get their 6th straight win making 26 saves on 28 shots while Terrier G Tysen Smith made 45 saves in the losing cause.
