The Yorkton Tribal Council is donating 100-thousand dollars to the Yorkton Brick Mill.

Chair of the Capital Committee of the Yorkton Brick Mill, Terry Tyson, notes that these donations are so important.

The money will go towards an expansion project, which will include an interpretive centre, an event space and a multipurpose centre.

The committee has now raised 1.3-million dollars towards their over 2-million dollar goal for their expansion project.

Tribal Chief Isabel O’Soup states it’s important for the tribal council to be involved in projects like this and to bring the community together as a whole.
