A Pasqua First Nation man pled guilty yesterday (MON), to charges stemming from an incident at a Regina home on July 17th, that saw the SWAT team called in.
In Regina Provincial Court, 27-year-old Patrick Asham admitted to two counts of Failure to Comply, and one charge of Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited.
After receiving credit for time already spent in custody, Asham was given an additional 72 days behind bars, to be followed by a year of probation, and a ten-year firearm prohibition.
His co-accused, 30-year-old Vanessa Okemaysim, of Regina, is off the hook, as the charges against her were stayed by the Crown in September.
