Accused in Saltcoats drug bust return to court

Two people arrested after a major drug bust in Saltcoats last Thursday (Jan. 19), were back in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (WED).

Regina Police were investigating illegal drug trafficking in the Queen City and surrounding areas, which led them to search a residence in Saltcoats.

Police recovered over 820 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, undisclosed amounts of cocaine and cash, and drug paraphernalia.

42-year-old Scott Flaman and 40-year-old Crystal Ford remain in custody, on numerous charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and will appear again in Regina on February 1st.
