Another court date for Punnichy man charged in Regina disturbance

A new court date has been set for a Punnichy man facing three charges, stemming from a disturbance at a Regina restaurant last Thursday (Jan. 19) night.

Regina Police were dispatched to a restaurant on Dewdney Avenue, where it was alleged a man was smoking inside the building, throwing rocks at vehicles, and pointing a knife at staff.

A police dog was involved in the arrest, after the suspect would not cooperate with police.

20-year-old Nakayle Riddel remains in custody on charges including Uttering Threats, and he will appear again in Regina on Monday (Jan. 30).
