New court date for two men facing drug charges following bust near Yorkton

A new court date has been set for two men, after the vehicle they were in, failed to slow down for an emergency vehicle near Yorkton.

32-year-old Dany Caron from Quebec, and 49-year-old Jason Palmer of Edmonton, appeared in Yorkton yesterday (THURS), where they were released from custody, but will return to court on February 6th.

At about 11:20 Tuesday morning, Mounties pulled over a truck on Highway 16, west of Yorkton.

They saw drug paraphernalia in plain view, and a search of the vehicle turned up crystal meth, morphine, magic mushrooms, unstamped cannabis, unstamped cigarettes, and an open bottle of vodka.
