Provincial funding allocated to 4 local communities for municipal projects

Four local communities are recipients of Saskatchewan Government funding, through the Targeted Sector Support Initiative (TSS).

More than $500-thousand is being invested into 15 new municipal projects that will better serve its residents. The province notes the funding covers up to 75 percent of eligible project costs.

The Town of Moosomin is receiving $25-thousand for a feasibility study on a new community multiplex, and the Town of Kipling is getting $28-thousand 500 for a joint feasibility study for a new arena.

$15-thousand 225 is allocated to the Village of Kelliher for its joint emergency measures response plan, and the R.M. of Barrier Valley $34-thousand 725 for the Barrier-Archerwill emergency response plan.
