An update on the Deer Park Clubhouse project, reminder about recycling, Yorkton hiring summer students

An update on the Deer Park Clubhouse in Yorkton.
Mayor Mitch Hippsley says the guard rails are going up on the exterior deck, insulation and dry wall are being installed within the building, doors and windows are in, and the pro-shop is ready for painting.
The clubhouse is expected to be ready for this year’s golf season.
Recycling
A quick reminder for residents of Yorkton.
Hippsley notes that the city does have an eco-recycling centre in the city, located at 180 Ball Road.
Jugs of oil, oil filters and anti-freeze can be dropped off at the centre; drums are not accepted.
The city also has a recycle coach app, which let’s you know what can and can not be recycled.
Work for summer students
The City of Yorkton is hiring summer students.
The Mayor says says the summer student job applications are now live on the city’s website, www.yorkton.ca/employment.
There are currently eight jobs posted on the city’s website.
