Former Saskatchewan Roughrider David Albright passes away at 63

Former linebacker with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, David Albright, has passed away. He was 63.

Albright played with the Riders from 1986 to 1991, winning a Grey Cup Championship in 1989. In 1987, Albright set a franchise single-season record for most defensive tackles with 118 – a record that stood for 35 years.

The Roughriders issued a statement today (Sat), mourning his sudden passing and sent their deepest condolences to his family.
