Armed Man Arrested On Key First Nation

Kamsack RCMP have made an arrest in connection to an armed male on the Key First Nation.

On January 25th, Mounties received a report of an armed male at a residence on the reserve, but when they arrived, he had left the scene.

Further investigation determined that the male had entered another home, and after a number of hours of negotiation, the male surrendered to police.

60-year-old Lyman Papequash faces several charges including Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and he will appear in Kamsack Court on Thursday.
