The Manitoba government is providing $100-million more in funding for school divisions for the 2023-24 school year.

Education Minister Wayne Ewasko says the funding represents an increase of 6.1 percent, which will help school division invest in programs and services that best meet the needs of students.

Locally, the Mountain View School Division is receiving $25.8-million, Park West School Division $12.4-million, and Swan Valley School Division $12.3-million.
