Punnichy RCMP have arrested a male youth, in connection with a shooting death on the George Gordon First Nation.

Police were called to a home on the reserve late Thursday night, where they found a boy under the age of 10, dead at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, a boy, who can’t be named due to his age, has been charged with Manslaughter with a Firearm.

He’s scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on Monday.
