SaskTel has responded to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria this week.

The wireless company is waiving its long-distance and text messaging fees between Canada and those countries to ensure customers can connect with loved ones in Syria and Turkey.

The waived fees will begin today (Thu) and last until February 28th.

In a news release, Minister Responsible for SaskTel Don Morgan says “In times of crisis, it’s important that we come together as a community to support those who need it and assist where possible”.
