Police in Dauphin made two arrests after a vehicle theft in the city.

Yesterday, officers located a stolen pick-up truck on Seventh Avenue NE, and arrested two males who entered vehicle before they could drive away.

A search of the suspects also turned up 200 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, two CO2 replica firearms, ammunition, body armor, a machete, a knife and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

26-year-old Keanu Roulette and 22-year-old Jamie Desmarais of the Sandy Bay First Nation were remanded in custody on numerous drug and weapons-related charges.
