Two Men Sentenced For Yorkton Break-In

Sentencing has been handed down to two men, arrested in connection with an alleged break and enter in Yorkton.

In Yorkton Court yesterday, 28-year-old Austin Houle of Sandy Bay, Manitoba, was sentenced to an additional 240 days in jail, plus one year of probation.

39-year-old Lewis Starr of Sandy Bay, Manitoba, received an additional 180 days in jail, and one year of probation.

Last September, Yorkton Mounties responded to a break and enter in progress at a home on Myrtle Avenue.

A search turned up an illegally-modified firearm, a semi-automatic firearm with a silencer, a high capacity magazine, and a small amount of white powder.
