One of two people charged following a major drug bust in Saltcoats last month has a new court date, after appearing in Regina Provincial Court on Friday.

Regina Police were investigating illegal drug trafficking in the capital and surrounding area, which led them to search a residence in Saltcoats on January 19th, resulting in the seizure of over 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, 820 grams of fentanyl, undisclosed amounts of cocaine and cash, and drug paraphernalia.

42-year-old Scott Flaman is charged with a number of offences, including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and on Friday he was denied bail, with his next court date in Regina set for Wednesday (Feb. 15).

His co-accused, 40-year-old Crystal Ford, is also in custody, and will make her next appearance in Regina on Wednesday.
