The public is being warned about the presence of dangerous illicit drugs in the south and southeast regions of Saskatchewan, after three overdose deaths over the past week.
On Monday, Moosomin RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive male in a hotel room, and the 22-year-old was declared deceased at the scene.
Then yesterday (Tue), Canora/Sturgis RCMP found an unresponsive woman outside of home in Preeceville, and the 50-year-old was pronounced deceased at the Preeceville Hospital.
In both cases, a light coloured or white powder were found at the scene, containing traces of what is believed to be methamphetamine or fentanyl.
