Two Swan River Residents Charged In Valentines Day Robbery

A Valentines Day robbery in Swan River led to a pair of arrests.

Yesterday (Tue), a 15-year-old female and 14-year-old male were walking Main Street in the town, when they were approached by a male and a female armed with a hammer, who demanded money and items before fleeing.

Swan River RCMP located the two suspects and arrested them without incident.

20-year-old Jefferson Cook and 39-year-old Loni Genaille, both of Swan River, were charged with Robbery and were remanded in custody for Swan River Court today.
