Winnipeg man charged in February 2022 robbery in Camperville, MB is off the hook

One of two men charged in an armed robbery case in Camperville, Manitoba, was back in court on Friday.

Just before 6 p.m. on February 25, 2022, Winnipegosis RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at a Camperville business on Highway 20.

It’s alleged two men wearing high-visibility jackets entered the business, threatened an employee with a firearm, then fled with cash and other items.

42-year-old Kory Flamand, of Winnipeg, appeared in court there on Tuesday (Feb. 14), where the charges against him related to that incident were stayed by the Crown Prosecutor.
