A Grenfell woman remains in custody after appearing in Regina Court yesterday (THURS), on charges stemming from a drug trafficking case in the capital.

On May 11, 2020, Regina Police officers noticed a white GMC truck, with three occupants, driving at a high rate of speed and later found it abandoned in an alley.

Three suspects were taken into custody, and a search inside the vehicle turned up cash and other items associated to drug trafficking as well as baggies with a substance believed to be illegal drugs on one of the suspects.

20-year-old Taryn George faces charges including Possession of Crystal Meth and Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and after being denied bail, her next court date was set for next Thursday (Feb. 23).
