The town of Canora is preparing their 2023 budget.

Mayor Mike Kwas says that town council has begun their preliminary talks for the budget.

In 2022, the biggest project the town completed was the new aquatics centre which cost 2.6-million dollars.

2023 will see the construction of a new waste transfer station, which will replace the current landfill that will be decommissioned in 2024.
