Manitoba RCMP respond to a handful of cold-related phone calls

Manitoba RCMP were busy last week after a number of cold weather-related phone calls.

On February 15th, Mounties responded to a pair of travellers trapped at a rest stop north Minnedosa, and officers ensured the people were safe and out of the cold temperatures.

That afternoon, a woman and her dog attended the Swan River RCMP detachment because she couldn’t get the door to her home open, so officers helped her out.

And that night, McCreary RCMP received a call from a male who was stuck at a vestibule of business with no way to get home, and Mounties provided him assistance.
