Accused in Saltcoats drug bust back in court

A man arrested after a major drug bust in Saltcoats was back in Regina Provincial Court on Friday (Feb. 17)

Regina Police were investigating illegal drug trafficking in the Queen City and surrounding areas, which led them to search a residence in Saltcoats on January 19th, leading to the recovery of over 820 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, undisclosed amounts of cocaine and cash, and drug paraphernalia.

42-year-old Scott Flaman faces charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and he remains in custody, to appear again on Thursday (Feb. 23).

The other person charged, 40-year-old Crystal Ford will make another appearance tomorrow (WED).
