There may not be a large quantity of medals at this point in the Saskatchewan Winter Games for Team Parkland Valley, but there is quality.
In the medal standings, Parkland Valley – which covers Kamsack, Yorkton, Melville, and Esterhazy – has 2 medals, both of them gold.
One gold was won by Luke Huber (pictured) in weightlifting in the 61 kilogram male category with a total score of 132, and the other in Gymnastics Team Mix (pictured below), scoring a total of 111.675.
It’s Day 3 of the Winter Games in and around Regina, and among the events going on today are Artistic Swimming, Badminton, Bowling Special Olympics, Speed Skating, Table Tennis, Curling, and Alpine Skiing.
