Accused in Saltcoats drug bust back in court

One of two people arrested after a major drug bust in Saltcoats was back in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (WED).

Regina Police were investigating illegal drug trafficking in the Queen City and surrounding areas, which led them to search a residence in Saltcoats on January 19th, leading to the recovery of over 820 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, undisclosed amounts of cocaine and cash, and drug paraphernalia.

40-year-old Crystal Ford appeared yesterday, and remains in custody, to appear again next Wednesday (Mar. 1), on numerous charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Her co-accused, 42-year-old Scott Flaman, will be back in Regina Court today (THURS).
