Two men charged in Yorkton snowmobile theft

Two Saskatoon men have each been charged with Theft over Five-Thousand Dollars and Possession of Stolen Property, in connection with the theft of a snowmobile in Yorkton over the long weekend.

On Sunday (Feb. 19), Yorkton RCMP were nofified that a snowmobile had been stolen from a trailer on Parkview Road.

On Monday (Feb. 20), Mounties executed a search warrant at a home on Calwood Crescent, and the sled was recovered and returned to its owner.

44-year-old Darcy Larose is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Court today (THURS), while a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 41-year-old Devon Ebach, who is also wanted for being unlawfully at large.

Mounties believe he may still be in the Yorkton area, though they can’t confirm that at this point.
