Grenfell woman charged in Regina drug bust back in court

A Grenfell woman charged in connection with a drug trafficking case in Regina, was back in court yesterday (THURS).

20-year-old Taryn George, who is accused of Possession of Crystal Meth and Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, remains in custody, with her matters adjourned to next Thursday (Mar. 2), in Regina.

In May of 2020, Regina Police officers saw a white GMC truck, with three occupants, speeding, and eventually found the vehicle abandoned in an alley.

Three women were arrested and a subsequent search of one of the suspects revealed baggies containing a substance believed to be illegal drugs, along with cash and other items associated with drug trafficking inside the vehicle.
