Greenwater-Rose Valley RCMP are needing the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a hit-and-run involving snowmobiles last Saturday (Feb. 18).

RCMP say during the Archerwill Snowmobile Derby, on a trail west of Barrier Lake, an unknown rider collided with the victim, sending the victim off their snowmobile, and causing the sled to roll.

The victim only had minor injuries, but their helmet and sled were damaged.

Initial information gathered by police indicates the unknown rider was driving a black skidoo and did not remain at the scene.
