The Assiniboine Community College in Neepawa is receiving 2.1-million dollars from the Manitoba government.

The funding will go towards a one time, 25 student practical nursing diploma program, with the money going towards operating and capital funding.

The town of Neepawa is currently constructing a new hospital which is expected to be completed in 2025.

The new facility will be four times the size of the existing Neepawa Health Centre and will include 63 acute care inpatient beds, and expanded emergency department, a trauma room, and an ambulance bay.
