Manitoba Predicting Low To Moderate Risk Of Flooding This Spring

Manitoba released its February spring flood outlook report.

According the province, most Manitoba basins are reporting low to moderate risk of flooding.

The Assiniboine River is rated at a moderate risk of flooding, while the Saskatchewan River has a low risk of flooding.

Ice cutting and breaking work will not take place this spring on the Assiniboine River, along the Portage Diversion, due to a low risk of ice-jam related flooding.
