A new court date has been set for one of two Riverton, Manitoba residents charged in connection with a theft in the Ochre River area, in October of last year.

25-year-old Joseph Contois will make his next appearance in Dauphin Court on March 14th.

The other person charged, 26-year-old Sabrina Bjornson, will be back in Winnipeg Court on March 9th.

On October 16th, Dauphin RCMP had to use a spike belt to stop a vehicle, which turned out to be stolen from Arborg, after a report of thefts in the Ochre River area.

Once the vehicle was stopped near Dauphin Beach, a search turned up stolen property, and what RCMP say was a small amount of cocaine.
