Woman charged in Saltcoats drug bust back in court

A woman arrested after a major drug bust in Saltcoats in January, was back in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (WED).

Regina Police were investigating illegal drug trafficking in the Queen City and surrounding areas, which led them to search a residence in Saltcoats on January 19th, leading to the recovery of over 820 grams of fentanyl, 3.2 kilograms of methamphetamine, undisclosed amounts of cocaine and cash, and drug paraphernalia.

40-year-old Crystal Ford, who faces charges including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, remains in custody, to appear again on Monday (Mar. 6).

The other person charged, 42-year-old Scott Flaman, is also in custody, and will make his next appearance in Regina on Tuesday (Mar. 7).
