Mounties have made a pair of arrests in connection to an assault on the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.

On February 24th, Virden RCMP responded to a report of an injured person who was held against their will.

34-year-old Tanya Hunter and 37-year-old Whitney Mazawasicuna, both of the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation were arrested and charged with three counts including Assault.

Mounties continue to search for 32-year-old Seril Mazawasicuna, who faces 16 charges.
