Former educational assistant makes first court appearance on Sexual Exploitation charges

A woman formerly employed as an education assistant at Vibank Regional School, facing sexual exploitation charges, has made her first court appearance.

In October of last year, Mounties received a report of inappropriate online communication between an adult female and a male student with the Prairie Valley School Division.

During the investigation, police identified a second male victim within the division.

38-year-old Stacy Duke of the R.M. of Francis appeared yesterday (TUES) in Indian Head, facing several charges, including two counts each of Sexual Exploitation of a Young Person, Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Child, and Child Luring, and she’ll appear again on April 4th.
