67 community events across Manitoba are receiving some funding from the provincial government.

323-thousand dollars are going to the events through the Arts, Culture and Sport Community Fund.

The events were granted the funding based on project goals, feasibility and community impact.

Locally, the Beef and Barley Festival in Russell will get 2-thousand dollars, the Fort Dauphin Museum’s 125th Birthday will get 5-thousand dollars, while the Rossburn Recreation Commission’s Canada Day celebration will get 5-thousand dollars.
