New court date set for accused in November 2021 drug bust in Kisbey

Two Kisbey residents charged following a drug and firearm bust in the community in November of 2021, have a new court date.

The matters for 22-year-old Kiera Shingoose and 22-year-old Demetrius Standingready have been adjourned to April 12th, in Carlyle Provincial Court.

In July of last year, the charges against the third person charged in the incident, 28-year-old Jordan Desjarlais, of Regina, were stayed.

On November 23, 2021, Carlyle Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in Kisbey, seizing a stolen firearm, 52 grams of cocaine, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
