Annual Paper Egg Campaign starts in Yorkton today

The annual Paper Egg Campaign, a national fundraising initiative by Easter Seals Canada, gets underway today (Mon) and lasts until April 30th.

Community Relations Coordinator at the Yorkton Branch of SaskAbilities, Deana Stroshein, says the campaign launch in Yorkton will be held at Schrader’s along Highway 9 north at 2 p.m. today.

Local businesses supporting the campaign this year include Tea Pro, Back Forty Brewery, Schrader’s, and Joe Beeverz.

Last year’s campaign in Saskatchewan raised $25-thousand, which stays in the province and goes towards funding Easter Seals Saskatchewan programs and services.

Programs include Camp Easter Seal, Summer Fun and Adaptive Technology Services.
