Highway 1 between Grenfell and Wolseley has re-opened but travel is not recommended.

According to the Highway Hotline, the Trans-Canada is listed as ice covered and three incidents have occured around Grenfell.

A multi-vehicle pile up has the two westbound lanes blocked about 4-kilometres east of Grenfell, while a jack-knifed semi is blocking one westbound lane 2-kilometres east of the town.

A motor vehicle collision has also occured west of the town near the Highway 47 turnoff, in the eastbound lanes.
