New court dates for two men charged following assaults on Sapotaweyak Cree Nation

Court appearances have been made by two of three men, arrested in connection with three assaults on the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.

22-year-old Chandler Cook was in Dauphin Tuesday, where he was remanded in custody to next Tuesday, while 18-year-old Santana Genaille was in Swan River yesterday (WED), where his matters were adjourned to April 19th.

Back on February 10th, Swan River RCMP received a report that three people had been assaulted at Sapotaweyak.

Three men were later arrested at another home on the reserve.
