A new court date has been set for a Grenfell woman charged in a drug trafficking case in Regina.

20-year-old Taryn George is charged with offences including Possession of Cocaine and Crystal Meth for the Purpose of Trafficking, and yesterday (THURS) in Regina, she was remanded in custody to June 19th.

In May of 2020, Regina Police officers witnessed a white GMC truck, with three people inside, speeding, and eventually found the vehicle abandoned in an alley.

Three women were arrested and a search of one of the suspects revealed baggies with a substance believed to be illegal drugs, along with cash and other items associated with drug trafficking inside the abandoned vehicle.
