Saskatchewan To Receive Federal Funding For High Speed Internet

The federal government is providing funding to improve high-speed internet in Saskatchewan.

37-million dollars is going towards projects that will bring high-speed internet and mobile connectivity to communities across the province.

Over 5-thousand homes will receive access to high-speed internet across Saskatchewan, including the areas of Yorkton, Melville and Moose Mountain, while mobile connectivity will be improved along up to 50-kilometres of highway.

The Canadian government is trying to ensure that all Canadians have access to high-speed internet by 2030.
