Saskatchewan sees biggest population jump in 108 years

Saskatchewan saw its biggest population jump in a single year since 1914.

That from the provincial government, as they touted numbers from Statistics Canada, showing the population grew by 29,307 in 2022.

The population now stands at 1,214, 618.

In a news release, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe claims the province’s growing economy, job opportunities and great quality of life are all reasons for the huge increase.
