A new court date has been set for a Redvers man facing child pornography charges.

In January, 48-year-old Vernon Zelionka pled guilty to Possession of Child Pornography, with sentencing now set for June 28th, in Carlyle. He still faces one count of Accessing Child Pornography, which will also be up in court that day.

Police began an investigation in August of 2020, into the accessing of child pornography through file sharing networks.

In October of 2020, they searched a home in Redvers, where child pornography was located, and two computers and a mobile phone were seized for further analysis.
