A man charged in connection with an armed robbery on the Muscowpetung First Nation made his first appearance in Regina Court of King’s Bench on Friday (Mar. 24).
In March of 2019, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to an armed robbery at a business on the reserve, and 31-year-old Jarrett Poitras was arrested on several charges, including Robbery with a Firearm.
Poitras had failed to appear in Regina Court of King’s Bench in June of 2021, and an arrest warrant was issued.
He has been committed for trial in Regina K.B., and he remains in custody, to make another pretrial appearance there on April 21st.
