RCMP are investigating a death on the Opaskwayak Cree Nation.

On Saturday, Manitoba First Nations Police Service responded to a report of an unresponsive man outside a residence in Opaskwayak.

The 37-year-old male was transported to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The death is being treated as a homicide, pending the results of the autopsy.
