The trial for a Pasqua First Nation man, facing a Sexual Assault charge, has wrapped up at Regina Court of King’s Bench.

31-year-old Colten Obey pled guilty to the lesser offence of Assault, and was handed an 18-month conditional sentence.

In Fort Qu’Appelle last June, Obey pled guilty to Assault with a Weapon and a Breach charge, with another weapon charge withdrawn, and he was handed a 6-month conditional sentence.

Obey faced 5 charges in all, in connection with a number of incidents between August and December of 2021.
